It was written as a replacement for install-usb-gui on a KDE system but it can also be used on any other Desktop Environment. It offers most of the options the cli backend does, including the option to add any grub boot line cheatcode and persist.
When using persist with a vfat USB-stick it allows you to select the size (in %) of the persistent storage.
A core benefit is that it allows you to refresh the USB-stick list if you decide to create more live USBs without restarting the application.
If required it also offers you the option to add a label to your device via the label checkbox and the entry box that will appear.
By now it should be in all the sidux repositories so you can install it with apt-get update && apt-get install qt-fll-iso2usb-gui . After installation you can find it in the menu under the title "install-sidux-to-usb".
If you have any problems using the application or you have some suggestion please open a forum thread stating your problem/suggestion.
