It was exactly one year ago today when the sidux e. V. founders came together to hold their first constitutive meeting at IRC #sidux-ev. Immediately the first version of its Statutes was passed leading to the establishing of the Association (e. V.). Apart from distributing free software, it is sidux e. V. aim, to support the sidux project financially as well as in legal matters.

In todays dist-upgrade vital parts of KDE will be removed for 32 bit installs. In smxi the packages are on hold.
edit: 08:18: please do not use smxi either, before the missing kde packages appear (hopefully today)
edit: 22.55 sidux repo has fixed packages (thxx to slh) until debian fixes the problem
please check if your mirror has the packages already or wait a few hours to be safe.

Currently we recommend to not update the kernel through smxi.First the script must be adapted to the new way as the kernels are now delivered ( kernels are now installable per apt-get)
If you want to update your kernel, please use apt-get
edit: as of now, kernel updates are disabled in smxi until H2 finds time to adjust it.
edit: since yesterday smxi has been fixed for the new kernels
