I rebuild it for i386 using the source here:
http://www.complang.tuwien.ac.at/schani ... 3.2.tar.gz

it already included the needed files for debian so I mainly just ran dpkg-buildpackage on it.
you can download the packages (which seem to work fine here) from the attachement.

note that those packages are not modified by me in any important way (only changed the version and added a changelog-entry about the build) and do not reflect the quality of official sidux packages or even my other package attempts Wink use at own risk!

Firstly, thanks zulu9!
I gave it a try. Now, I opened a random image in gimp..
Several single filters picked randomly and applied, all worked flawlessly.

Then I tried Filter->General (="Allgemein")->MathMap->MathMap
I assume that option would be the one (window) shown in the video?

Nothing happens, shell though shows:
Code:
phen@booky:~$ gimp
Cannot open directory `/home/phen/.gimp-2.4/mathmap/expressions': Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
line 12
line 12
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/mathmap: fatal error: Speicherzugriffsfehler

[Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden = File or directory not found;
Speicherzugriffsfehler = Memory access error]

Any idea about that "expressions" that's looked for?

I actually just ran the build stuff, installed it and checked if the plugin shows up in gimp.
I don't know gimp so I did not try to run the plugin.
sure about the missing dir but the package contains files in
/usr/share/gimp/2.0/mathmap/expressions
I assume you can have additional "expressions" in your home-dir, so I would not worry about the "directory not found"-stuff

the segfault is probably the reason why it does not work, but that's probably a thing upstream has to solve.

I will try it here tomorrow and see if it segfaults too, have to get some sleep now Wink

ok. could not resist to test it Wink
works fine here as far as I can see. I did the Filter->General (="Allgemein")->MathMap->MathMap and applied some stuff, clicked apply and it worked.
I am running on a fully upgraded sidux here. gn8, now seriously Wink
