Articulating thoughts into a written form that is both informative and enjoyable, even if the reader has no background knowledge on the current subject, is a powerful skill that can be used for other purposes than tech support or writing change logs to kernel default configuration / modification revisions.
I would like to say thanks - your way of expressing thoughts into english, especially on linux subjects to clarify misunderstandings - such as the reiserfs vs ext3 thread (http://sidux.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-1336.html) - has actually influenced my writing over the moment I took interest into reading your posts. Your writing is practically a compression of ideas into an efficient use of vocabulary which provides more information in a smaller subset of connected words.
So, here's my request. Write a book. On what? I really could care less: with your writing style, anything can be interesting.
Sorry if this is a spotlight or appears pushy and arrogant, I just had to ask |

Someone wants a free sidux t-shirt.
hmmmm....not bad actually....
slh, has anyone told you that when the light hits your bald spot just so, the Trompe-l'½il caused by the reflection reminds me of the Caspian sea after an oil tanker spill.
Can I have my t-shirt now? |

| Isn't the sidux manual good enough? Its so well written that it embodies what sidux is all about. |

That's right, the manual is not just only good - it's nearly perfect!
But I must admit, nearly everytime I visit the forum, I watch out for new posts of slh, as there's everytime something interesting in his statements. Sometimes Open-source in general, networking stuff, kde4 infos etc.
For sure it's not only slh who flavours this forum with his outstanding qualified posts, there're many others who have the ability to teach us noobs and daus (too many to call their names...). But I think slh is the number one, and I'd really appreciate a book written by him as damentz does
