I was thinking, I'd like to see sidux in a different environment, what about enlightenment? I think e17 is the best environment so what do u think?

Erm, don't think that's supported by sidux at the moment, but there could be possibilities. Perhaps a sidux dev can weigh in on this question.

e17 is beta and has been beta for over a year. Its simple enough to install if you really want it.

# Enlightenment E17
# gpg --keyserver wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net --recv-keys 7E5D69A103CA4243
# deb http://www.edevelop.org/debian unstable main

apt-get update
apt-get install e17-desktop e17-extras emodules0-all

Will install dam near everything you need other than the different themes.

enlightenment-theme-blue-eyed E17 Blue-Eyed theme
enlightenment-theme-carbon-14 E17 Carbon-14 theme
enlightenment-theme-clearlooks E17 Clearlooks theme

I tend to agree with kelmo, KDE is the best. If you want something else you are free to install it but chances are you won't get any support when it screws up.

While KDE may have its issues, it is also the most stable desktop and has the most features and apps. Personally I will never understand why anyone would want to run anything else, unless you have a really old system that doesn't have the resources to run KDE.
