The thing is that when you tell someone about participation in a certain open source project they immediately think of programming, and they say “Hey I’m no geek dude, I can’t do [insert programming language here], there’s no way I can contribute to this project , even though I’d like to."
But you know what? You can help your favourite project, even if you’re not tech-savvy! And here’s a list five ways to do it.

I will try to begin by doing some documentation. After I am sure of what I write. Meanwhile I have a website for Linux, it will expand as my knowledge grows.
And shall try to keep off non-productive debates. Had enough today. Better to focus on learning Linux/sidux. |

Advocacy and spreading the word here......love to see people unbound from the parasitic M$.......use the software, let people see it, try it and helping them maintain it will always benefit the community.
And not just getting nix into peoples hands but helping on the first stages of letting people administer their own system , and where to find the resources and help when they need it.

8. Act pompous, arrogant: walk around talking smack about the project until someone dislocates your jaw.
9. Eat ramen noodles and claim its <insert project here>'s primary source of nutrition and other fun adjectives and nouns - then request a donation if the listener shows a few signs of sympathy. |

The linux community (not necessarily the sidux community) should work more to learn the windows-user how to do the same things they do but with linux.
My effort is to translate in italian the sidux manual and to remake the sites where I contribute with info to help winuser to switch first to free application (see the OpenDisc project) and then to linux. |
