After upgrading to 2.6.23.1-slh-smp-22, neither ceni or network manager seem to be able to snag an ip address from my wireless card. Static ip does not appear to work either but the authentication does seem to be successful.
Is there a fix for this that I'm just not finding? After much mucking about with the native b43 driver, my best results are 1 Mb/s connections which are unacceptable; therefore, I'd like to keep using ndiswrapper on this machine. |

I am using 2.6.23.1-slh-smp-26 now and b43 works a little better although it does name interface as wlan0_rename now. Also I had to remove network-manager to get dhcp through ceni. Ndiswrapper also worked after network-manager removal, though it does not list available networks in ceni.
P.S. All should feel free to yell at me if I should change my posts around to make them more useful. |
