Happy birthday, sidux! Thank you for the last three months as a new sidux user! I know that the time of distro-hopping is over for me I like the philosophy of sidux, the pure open source concentration and the brilliant sidux tools, especially smxi! Thanks to all sidux developers and the community. The sidux manual offers quick help without a long search! My personal opinion is that sidux is the best distro I've ever seen. The rolling release is unique. I'm curios what the future will bring! |

Χρόνια Πολλά from me too.
Thanks for a wonderful distro and all your help and support. I hope this project lives and prospers in the years to come, and I hope I can put in a tiny bit of help to make this happen.
Cheers!!! |

regards,
kamantschka |

Happy Birthday sidux
I want to thank slh, kelmo, x-un-i, cleary, devil (a pain in his side, and always has stupid questions on how to do something) who I have learned so much from, these, are the real hero's of sidux, I can't believe a whole year has gone by already, it seems like yesterday the "split" happened.
I remember etorix taking his time to help me (hold my hand) with my first build (before sidux had a release), later after some changes in the way building was done it was devil & kelmo who helped me not only build, but to understand what was being done, how it worked & why. I am forever grateful for their knowledge, patients and for "putting up with me". There is no other place I would want to be, but right here with sidux. A lot of things I didn't understand not just about sidux, but building sidux also, it was cleary that pushed me to keep building and testing. "piper your really getting into this building stuff aren't you", "cleary, yes, I don't just want to build and test, but to understand what is going on, changes, and how it's done". thanks cleary. h2, it was a pleasure testing back in the "day" when ati had a little something to work with, I learned a lot from you, rereading your amazing scripts to learn how they work (some of it still looks like a different language to me)
bluewater, what can I say amazing, fab, just fab, what you have done here. It is such an honor to be a part of sidux, I wish I could quit my job and spend more time here to help, learn, and bullshit more with the users on irc Lastly, I would like to thank the users of sidux, without you's, I have no idea where sidux would be. Thank You's.
Beers & shots for everyone, I am buying, enjoy !!!, and may their be many more birthdays for sidux. I will continue to help, support & spread the word of sidux to others for years to come. |
