Woohoo, great year. Thanks to all the great devs, and individuals like h2, xadras, locsmif, shame that help to make sidux the best distro in the world. As well as all the cool people that hang out in #sidux.
I was one of the ones that jumped ship at kanotix and used h2's script to cross-upgrade to sidux as soon as it was available. |

sidux is nifty, to be sure. And while it's true I don't know much, and really, I only tagged along because Cuddles made the jump and installed it on this PC, I came to love sidux muchly.
So hence self appointed Official Fangirl. And most everyone tolerated it  |

So we came to the one year celebration, I have read the Happy birthday sidux news and as a user who has been with you nearly the whole time I just have to thank you all for your great work. I also did a little distro-hopping the last months and as I see it sidux is outstanding. Also thanks everybody for all the help on the forum. All this have made me come to the point for some month ago that I can do everything I need on a computer on sidux, no need to dual boot anymore. 
And there is one more thing that makes this so beautiful and locsmif put it right on the point

Ein Hallo an an Euch und alle Siduxer..
Zunächst einmal einen herzlichen Glückwunsch zum "1-jährigen" an die Entwickler von sidux. Jungs/Mädels, ihr leistet einen grossartigen Job.
Nachdem ich von der MS-Fraktion vor ca. 2 Jahren zur Linux gewechselt bin (jaja, Ubuntu sei Dank) und dann eine Zeit Distro-Hoppping gemacht habe läuft seit 3 Monaten sidux auf meinem PC. Und seitdem ist zum ersten Mal alles "rund". Und so habe ich jetzt beschlossen, mich bei sidux niederzulassen
Ich programmiere nicht, sondern bin nur Anwender, keine Ahnung, ob und was ich der "Gemeinde" zurückgeben könnte (ausser Geld per PayPal *lol*). Was ich aber bereits mache ist, im Freundes-und Bekanntenpreis sidux zu lobpreisen..
Ich freue mich auf eine nette Zeit hier und werde versuchen im Rahmen meiner Möglichkeiten Unterstützung zu geben.

Hi an alle die sidux zu dem gemacht haben, was es heute ist.
Die Story vom Übergang von der alten Distro auf sidux ist ja eigentlich filmreif. Das habt ihr ja toll hinbekommen. Weiter so! |
