I was compiling a kernel with fakeroot make-kpkg binary -rev 1 kernel-image, but after 40ish minutes later it stops saying there was no more space in the partition. I freeded some space for the partition and run again the same command. This time finished without errors. It finished in like 17min ( when usually the whole process takes 55ish minutes )
My question is: if that was fine to do, use the same command and parameters. Or was I supposed to erase the already created debs and start over?
Probably a dumb question, but it's better be dumb for one day, than have a crashy system.
Thank you |

The subsequent command would have overwritten previously created files with newly produced ones.
I'd usually remove files of defunct operations before attempting to make 'em again, fwiw. |
