Thanks for that. It's a little disconcerting to see it listed in only that one chart, though. If I find a little time, I'll try to fill in the other charts (I'll post questions if I don't know the answers).

Legal should be "any DFSG-free" (same as the debian entry)
Arch - remove IA64 (Itanium is not supported)
Security - I'd be tempted to remove sidux entirely from there - apparmor is not included on the release

Thanks. I'm changing them.

Legal is already "any DFSG-free". Not.
OK, fixed.

And all the rest changed.

slh: I see why apparmor cannot be included...its maintained by Novell and that's a risk in itself. Ubuntu put it in their repo (bad move IMO)

Novell maintaining it isn't a problem, but the approach itself is snakeoil. Furthermore it is a very invasive patchset, which needs a lot of maintenance to stay working with current upstream kernels, but was rejected from mainline Linux several times due to technical shortcommings and design flaws (even though Novell is pushing it hard) - if you want it, get it into Linus' tree<fullstop>

ah that's a really good reason...it must be definitely a lot of work to maintain

And I don't blame Linus for not accepting it as its much too invasive and you never know how tainted the code is

It will be nice to fix the latest stable release to, 2007-03.1 released on August 15 2007 instead of 14. Very good entry though, sorry for being a perfectionist . Smile
