The glassy icon inkscape svg source is attached, minus the park photo background. I left it in for the preview because it highlights the glass effect pretty well imo. If you like that wallpaper, it's in /usr/share/wallpapers/soft-green.jpg on the std sidux-kde install (I can't seem to find what package it's in)
sidux-aero-vista anyone?

Shrink that picture please!
To me, the gradient cutting off abruptly sticks out like a sore thumb.
We've discussed it, and that's the look Cleary's going for.
Personally, I prefer a smooth transition.

Call me thick, but how do I download the damn things. If I click on it I keep just getting the code on a new tab, and if I right click and save as, I get something similar. No zip file. |

Right Click Save As will NOT work. The link is to some referrer, so you have to be logged in and left-click on it.
Dunno why it's giving you code. |

Thanks, TheBlunderbuss, but I am logged in. I get sent to this link:
http://sidux.com/PNphpBB2-download-id-3 ... 0b6f9.html
which gives me binary code.
Iceweasel and Opera don't even show the links on the page. Annoying. |

Is it possible to have all artwork posted in the Gallery in case others come up with this issue? |

Fair enough. How about, then, a direcory at http://debian.tu-bs.de/project/sidux/ called 'svgart', with subdirectories for each artist? Pictures can be displayed in the forum with a link then to that file.
It's just that if the artwork for sidux is to be in svg format, and it can't be displayed in the gallery, we should probably have somewhere where users can download it. |
