could the next version of sidux have ieee1394 device compiled in please.
the preview 3 version had this device listed, this allowed me to use kino and pull of video from my camcorder.
The latest version does not appear to have this device in. no device (dev/ie1394 does not exist).
I dont fancy recompiling my kernel just for this device so i will wait.

| It's compiled as module and should be loaded automatically by udev, if not you can use modprobe nd list it in /etc/modules. |

| diddy, try plugging in your 1394 device...module should load automatically when device is detected. |

i have added this to modprobe in etc and this now works.
