I have no troubles with searching text to translate. I just look at it and I see "alien" text. Reading many times the same text is tiring, but thanks to this I can find typos and style problems.

There is some minor inconsistency between the text in the main menu to the left and the TOC (http://manual.sidux.com/en/welcome-en.htm#table-contents):

Installation options
'fromiso and persistent' is shown in the main menu, but not in the TOC

sidux LAMP stack
'Timeserver setup' is shown in the main menu, but in the TOC it is located inside 'Internet and Networking' (which I guess is the correct place)

Internet and Networking
'Internet Sharing' is shown in the TOC but not in the main menu

System Administration
'Services enable/disable' is named 'Enabling services in sidux'

i just learned to use svn log --limit N <file> and svn diff, so i can find the change automatically now. Smile
I withdraw proposal about tagging the change.

For watching changes in the manuals you might want to have a look at the "Timeline" feature in Trac: https://noc.sidux.com/projects/manual/timeline
Greetings,
Chris

_____________________________________________
http://manual.sidux.com/en/cd-content-en.htm

=> You really should have a swap partition (equivalent to the windows swapfile, but is much more effective). For normal usage, the swap partition should be up to twice your ram.

=> [XFS is not supported and whomever wants to use XFS for / (root) must create an extra /boot partition (ext2) or use lilo (because grub doesn't work with xfs reliably). The installer at this point supports xfs on / only through editing the file ~/.siduxconf.]

konqueror,

Very Happy

Hubi,

On this page (English manual - very bottom of page)
http://manual.sidux.com/en/hw-dev-hw-dr ... m#non-free
I was looking for information regarding writing to NTFS partitions -
Quote:
Whislt the ntfs-3g is stated to be 'stable',

"Whilst" would draw less attention.

It took some time to find this - might it be more proper to have that as a subsection in the the "Partitioning your hard drive" section instead of under Graphics Cards, hardware & drivers?

regards,

rumbarg

Thanks for spotting the typo

ntf-3g is also on another file (deliberately)
http://manual.sidux.com/en/live-mode-en.htm#ntfs-3g

However yes I will look at moving it from the Graphics Cards file ,to another file when I do the next global menu update
