Hi,
I just wanted to say that I really like it that you do status reports, even very large ones like the one I am talking about. This clears up things and makes waiting for new releases (even if your 3 months release cycle isn't too long) easier. I can't imagine how you want to improve the hardware support of the Live-CD, because I don't had any problems (where other people might have some, that's right). I think the next release, 2007-02, is an important one because it shows sidux-unexpierenced users that you are doing your part in releasing new CDs with a timeline very well, and on an other side is the next release going to be even more uptodate, because etch hopefully freezes soon and we're getting Xorg 7.2, KDE 3.5.6 and a lot more application updates.
Tell me what you think about it,
- d2kx |

I agree wholeheartedly with d2kx. The status report is a very considerate and useful posting.
Thanks again to the sidux team |

| Also to agree with posts above and to add that what is planned is really exciting. Kudos to all those involved in sidux. It really is the most adventurous, dynamic and progressive team out there in distro land. |

I'd like to second (or third, or fourth or fifth) the other comments.
Keep up the great work! |

| *nudges his way in* I agree. I came from a distribution, that will remain anonymous but sounds like K-Yew-Bunt-Too, that left its users in the dark for the most part. ...kudos. |

Its great to see regular status updates from the sidux team on developments that affect the distro. As previous posters have said, the next release will be a very important one to show the world sidux is a distro that means business, in a hot and spicy way |

I'm thankful for the status updates, however I really wish the date format of the roadmap would change... Wouldn't it be easier just to name the months instead of a week format, which means I have to calculate which month the week belongs to?!
Call me lazy, but it's much more clearer. |

New, potential new and established Sid users now have a clear direction forwards.
