hi,
why the packages python-plasma-script engine and python-kde4 will be removed?

Die folgenden Pakete werden aktualisiert:
acpid file irqbalance kbd kopete kppp libbluetooth3 libboost-program-options1.40.0 libcap-ng0 libgpod4 libical0 libkopete4 liblcms1
libmagic1 libnewt0.52 libnspr4-0d libusb-0.1-4 libxml2 libxml2-utils libxslt1.1 linux-headers-2.6-sidux-amd64
linux-image-2.6-sidux-amd64 menu python-cairo python-cups python-dbus python-gobject python-imaging python-numpy python-sip4 python2.5
python2.5-dev python2.5-minimal whiptail
34 aktualisiert, 3 neu installiert, 2 zu entfernen und 0 nicht aktualisiert.
Es müssen 53,5MB an Archiven heruntergeladen werden.
Nach dieser Operation werden 123MB Plattenplatz zusätzlich benutzt.

plasma-scriptengine-python depends on python-kde4 which itself depends on python2.5 which also gets updated.
i guess this should be fixed soon.

The problem is python-kde4 which depends on: python-sip4 (>= 4.9-1), python-sip4 (<< 4.9-1+~)
But python-sip4 is at 4.9-1+b1.

hi,
also here, python-gnome2 as well as the packege 'soundconverter' will be removed on a du.
i ll wait with the du anyway, but just wanted to report, especially, since the python part already is known, about the soundconverter missmatch.

Are we waiting for python2.5 to be updated?
Aborted d-u today and was able to "apt-get install" individually all(list below) except plasma-scriptengine-python python-kde4 (which were going to be removed) and also python-sip4.
Thanks for the warning. It saved me some possible frustration and down time. Just for information sake also slated for removal was python-cairo python-cups python-dbus python-gobject python-imaging python-numpy with python-sip4 and python-kde4.
