In this light, sidux is a continuation of most of the known Kanotix tradition, carried by a big and active part of previous Kanotix contributors (but seemingly with less emphasize on a "benevolent dictator" type of governance, and more focus on "team responsibilities").
This kind of Hollywood-like gossip doesn't do Kano justice, but sidux is indeed a remarkable effort. It appears that the "team" managed to outshine the "star" at least for now. But I still wonder what they could have achieved if they had stayed together. Maybe a Linux supernova?

well, since a supernova means the end of a star's existence, I wouldn't want to hope for the latter Wink

Agree with Ockham23 as Kano did a lot to make a well done distro based on Debian Sid which is considerably easier to install than straight Debian. So in this vein, sidux builds on this solid foundation and makes Debian a better choice than the rest.

Just my 2 rusty pennies Wink
