the problem is that the thinkpad t60 won't boot when on battery with any of the 2.6.26 kernels ,screen stays black and no hd activity.
when on ac no problem the last kernel that work when on battery is 2.6.25-4.slh.8 .
i have posted in http://sidux.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-1 ... rt-30.html but have seen to late that the thread was marked as solved sorry for that.
install is 2007-03.1 - Γαια - kde-full regulary dist-upgrade.
thanks in advance |

my x60s works without Problems on 2.6.26.
MAybe some BIOS-Thingy in your case.
And please make sure that no demon like "laptop_mode" gets started when on battery which may control SATA-parameters of HDD or some other things.
Also graphics-drivers (especially the proprietary ones) may cause such problems... |

maybe. but may also be an ACPI-thingy or even worse, some "graphics driver tries to save power on battery mode" - issue...
Without further info its all guessing. but if an 2.6.25er worked i recoomend sticking with this one and trying a 27 perhaps, when it comes availlable.. |
