Hi,
the network scan on my IBM with the Intel ipw 3945 is fine ,
except it does not find my access point any more.
I moved it inside the room and from then on the scan will only show any neighbour's network, but not mine. But my Nokia Internet Tablet does connect just fine to my network, and the router lists the tablet, if i check it in the web-interface.
I am lost. Why does the notebook cannot 'see' my ap?
Please help me

| Your access point could be on a frequency/channel that your intel adaptor is not scanning. |

And right you were!!!
Thank you very much, i could not guessed since the Internet Tablet, my phone and the Live-CD session connected easily, but not the installed system.
Still kind of strange for me.
thanks again
