Hello all.
I have sidux'ed my Antix install with the use of h2's smxi script. I have been installing the new kernels as they became available to see changes/improvements. The last two kernels, 2.6.25-12.slh.3-sidux-686 and 2.6.26-0.slh.6-sidux-686 have some kind of issue with acpi. The modules seem to load at boot but I don't get a response from acpitool.
Code:
eriefisher@compaq:~$ acpitool
Battery status : <not available>
AC adapter : <not available>
Thermal zone 1 : ok, 0 C
I only noticed this because I use it in my conkyrc. Has anyone else seen this? Also, there were no seen issues with the 2.6.25 kernels.
What should I be looking for?

I assume the bug report kelmo linked to is the source of the problem, so basically what you're waiting for is for that issue to be resolved in the package itself.

acpitool is known to be incompatible with new sysfs power interface (kernel maintainers change API at will) and has yet to be fixed.

Not a problem. It's just with the 2.6.26 series kernels. The 2.6.25's work fine.

They both work just as fine, just some information is stored in a different location.
