Hey...
has you already planned for next time to support the GNOME dm, too?
sidux has only KDE as Desktop manager, Gnome (2.22) in the sidux packets is a good idea, isnt it?
EDIT: I mena as std Desktop Manager, as downloadable iso.. i know, that i can install gnome over apt, too ^^ |

well, as i have followed some discussions in the forum here, i can only conclude that there will be no official gnome support and no iso... there are more various reasons: the two major are (as i figured) that 1) gnome is pretty hard to cope with in sid and 2) the resources are just limited (human power and interest for gnome development and support and also the technical issues like server space and traffic)...
if i am wrong, i'll sure be corrected very soon... |

if you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find it - maybe you can read ... the sidux manual

Commifreak, you have to select Gnome in the login screen menu (it does not matter if you use kdm, gdm or xdm).
