I began using Xfce when Kde presented some growing pains with new libraries.
Currently a Core 2 Duo, a P4 and all other new setups.
I also run Kde apps, Gnome apps and anything else that seems useful.
I appreciate the speed and stability of Xfce and don't mind loading the libraries of Kde and Gnome apps.
When Kde 4.X settles down, I am sure I will give it a trial.
At present, I have everything that I need with Xfce.
I am looking forward to the Xfce Ourea version and the new look. |

| I have the Erebos KDE edition, by removing everything KDE, and installing XFCE4 and XFCE4-goodies, I'm assuming that I basically have the Erebos XFCE edition. Is that correct, or is there something else I need to add to make it complete? I did basically the same thing with my Eros and it worked very good for quite a while. I like XFCE much better than KDE or Gnome. |
