Post subject: Ceni can't see wireless network

I'm trying to connect my new laptop (Dell m1530) to my household wireless network but Ceni cannot see anything. When I scan for the network, it returns: no values found.
So far as I can see, Ceni does recognise my wireless card, as it appears as: wlan0 wireless 00:lf:3b:cl:62:43 Intel PRO/Wireless 4965 AG AGN (iwl4$
I assume that this means that the card is installed and I know the network is there and set to visible - yet I can't see it.
Any ideas where I'm going wrong? |

| Never mind. It's working now -although I'm mystified how a reboot often miraculously fixes things... |
