| I would like to install virtualbox to run winXP virtualized. I understand that if you use a Xen kernel that you cannot install Nvidia proprietary drivers on the host system as they will not work with a Xen kernel. Can Nvidia drivers be intstalled on the host system if virtualbox is installed? I did a quick scan of the FAQ's on the virtualbox site and read some posts in the forums here and don't see anything to indicate that it would not work. Thanks. |

| 3D acceleration will not work within virtualbox. However, you can have the host system use Nvidia drivers and run virtualbox with embedded systems concurrently. I can guarantee to you that it works with virtualbox-non-ose-1.5.6 and NVIDIA 173.14.05, because that is what I'm using now. |
