when i'm trying to install sidux on my harddisk it hangs while copying files
i already checked the cd with md5sum and there are no faults found.
i think the problem lays with the partitioning.
i have already windows xp installed on my computer and would like to keep it.
so this may be a dumb question but,
if i want to keep it, should i set it as a mountpoint or not? |

no, do not set is as a mount point |

I tried to install sidux on my computer too, actually I hawe two computers, HP 64bit laptop, and older 32bit desktop computer(athlon xp2000+ and geforce4 mx)
Downloaded ISO with 686 and amd64 wersion. Successfully installed 64 bit wersion on laptop (with few bugs)
But desktop computer doesn't give up
I start liveCD, it boots, run installation guide, configure everything, but when finally run installation, it only shows that 1-st stage started, but nothing happens.
I tried few times with different settings, no luck.
I have windows on this computer,two partitions with ntfs, one ext3, and swap partitioReaded all "Instructions" nothing new, and nothing helps
Can anybody help? |
