No usb-drive icons and automount in KDE

Hi everybody!
This thing really makes me nervous, so I'll post it here in english too:

Since some weeks the icons for any plugged in usb drive like external hdd or memorystick do not appear any more on my desktop. Also the dialog asking for the action doesn't appear. Although in the kde "Kontrollzentrum" the are configured to do.

All symbols of internal harddisks are still present.

here is the output of dmesg when I plug in my USB-Stick:

In /dev/ the devices sda0, sda1 and sda2 do appear.
Manual mount e.g. using pmount works. But anyway no icon apperas on my desktop Confused

I dont have entrys for usb-devices in my fstab.

I hope you can help me!

hm, for some time now removables get mounted to /media/disk (only appears when mounted),so my first guess is, you are not up to date.
