I have tried usind sidux 2008-1 preview2 using the P5E3 with an Intel core2 duo E8200 CPU and 2GB DDR 1333 memory.
I have a preloaded HDD and CD but both go into repetitive read-outs and never reach log-in.
The latest BIOS has been installed.
What am I doing wrong?
Is it BIOS settings or does it require additional drivers?

Hi Piper,
Many thanks for replying and your suggestions.
I eventually tracked the problem to a faulty PATA to SATA adaptor. Removed that and replaced the DVD/CD drive with a SATA one and all is well.
