As sidux now has the sidux-manual in 7 languages, therefore, typos/mistakes are a fact!!!!
Note and post all your findings here.
Be precise as to which language, topic and heading that you are referring to.

Da ich mich um Grammatik/Rechtschreibung des deutschsprachigen Handbuchs kümmere, bin ich sehr dankbar für den Thread, da man bei so vielen Seiten einfach betriebsblind wird und über dieselben Fehler immer wieder drüberliest.
Keine falsche Scheu also, wenn euch wo ein Fehler auffällt

Some typos and not correct/clear parts I found in en-manual:
in virus&rootkits:
- "sidux Manuals - Vitus and Rootkits"
- "If you wish to use a GUI front end for clamav its available for KDE"
- "(or whatever version number is applicale at the time"
- remove the dot "start install script. and follow the installation instructions"
- why is "- Rootkit Hunter is released as GPL licensed project and free for everyone to use." put in the list of the avaible tests?
- "checks for signs of LKM trojans" repeated both for chkproc.c e chkdirs.c (is it right?)
in timeserver:
- "It is a large doc,and not all of it applies, but its got it all."
- "ntp will get its time from the list of servers in /etc/ntp.conf, which is the main file to edit," ends in "," instead of "."
- "he ntp.conf file itself is a bit odd, its treated as a diff if you just click on it ok .. before you start ntp, you must set the time"
- "That asterisk on the 3rd line in this example: *82.219.3.1, is showing the active timeserver, thats deemed most worthy. It means you are now keeping good time, and it uses port 123 An example of an iptables line is:"

do we need a new screenshot in hd-install-de? The menu in the installer seems to have changed.
Here a thread in the German forum, I think it's the .knofig which is renamed (but I am not sure, have just used sidux as live system yet, doing all upgrades and crossgrades via apt-get)

Unfortunately MS fibbed about the ability of IE to support css. and better minds than mine have worked on the problem, and atm a 100% css made site will be always be a massive headache with IE, Download 'Firefox for MSwindows', and you will be good to go
I also assume , from your post , that that its only that file that fails to display properly, and not the 36 others, which is really strange as the file is 100% compliant, and the menu for that file is a replica of every other file in the menu system, and basically, I have more important items on the agenda than getting a dopey browser like MSIE to work properly, when there is a perfectly 1000000% better option like 'Firefox for MS' ., and it open source,, hmm funny about that!

So natürlich ist das nicht, habe ich auch checken müssen, ob beides geht, da es mit Dativ schon komisch klingt, aber es geht.
Zu den weiteren Sachen:
wenn zophod oder ich schreiben, dass es getan ist, dann beginnen erst die Mühlen des Uploads. Je nach Arbeitsstand in den verschiedenen Sprachen kann es mal ein paar Tage dauern, bis die korrigierte Version synchronisiert und schließlich online ist. Auch kann es mal passieren, dass man eine zu alte Version korrigiert - so wie mir gestern, dann muss man nochmal den diff einspielen - so wie grade
Also keine Angst, "getan" ist im Handbuch, wann immer es online kommt. Ist nicht so leicht für bluewater, x Sprachen zu koordinieren.

two wishes, since I don't think the meaning "language selection" of the sidux-book-on-flags-icon is easy to grasp:
* make the book smaller and/or the flags bigger
* display the tool tip (img src="../lib/logos/sidux-lang-50.png" title="Wählen Sie eine andere Sprache") in english, no matter what language I'm currently reading - if I want to see another language than german I'm most likely not able to understand "Wählen Sie eine andere Sprache".

This is no bug, typo or error but a suggestion:
All pages in the manual has a small datestamp in the lower, right corner. This datestamp tells when the page was revised. Would it be possible to put this information in the upper right corner, just to make it easier to access the information? Now it's kind of 'hidden'...

What I meant was that it gets easier to obtain the information about when the page was last updated.
Occasionally I browse around in the manual, just to check out if there is anything new to learn. If I enter a page and the datestamp says that the page was updated yesterday, then I probalby will re-read the page, but if it says that the page was updated two months ago I'll probably skip it.
Just a suggestion, nothing important.

1. I am not good in graphics, so I can't say if the icon is good or not, the "sidux logo on the book" is the logo for the manual.
2. The mouseover text is in German in all my browsers (language detection is very good on the manual page, at least here: IW, Konqueror, Opera).

it is not a question of aesthetics here. does this icon suit its purpose of showing that you have the opportunity to change the language? i have no problem with german. it is not important to me personally. i just took up severin's suggestion. he feared with a wrong language you will not understand the popup message. but if you dont suspect, that you could do anything with this icon (looking like a logo) you will not even see any popup message (see point 1)).

Ahhh , I understand now, heh
HHmm, convention seems to have it that content changes to a file are placed at the bottom (doesn't mean to say its the best solution) .
The other small issue is a topic that you are really interested in to note/read up on any changes , may appear in the middle of a file not the first line of a file so that means putting a time stamp on every topic heading, I don't really want to do that, unless it becomes critical operationally.

i think it's very useful if you add some comment tag like.

die Liste ist abgearbeitet. Inhaltlich ändert nur bluewater zentral, das Wort "Performanz" ist korrekt (gegenkontrolliert).

I was looking for information regarding writing to NTFS partitions -
