Upgrade Warnings (EN & DE) - Desktop-PC: on battery power, so skipping filesystem check

Post subject: Desktop-PC: on battery power, so skipping filesystem check
I have installed kernel 2.6.26-1.slh.4-sidux-686 today on my desktop-PC (not a notebook). In the boot-messages I saw the warning (as I remind it)

on battery power, so skipping filesystem check (warning!)

With the kernel 2.6.26-1.slh.3-sidux-686 the root filesystem was checked today, so this must be an issue with the new kernel version?

hi arwa!

i saw the same message while booting an updated system...
don't know why, but reinstalling the graphics driver did the trick.

good luck,
mork

EDIT:

so, it's got nothing to do with graphics...?

Same issue here; reinstalled graphics driver . . . and still get the 'on battery' warning on a desktop without chkdsk

Certainly reduced the boot time for lightening fast sidux!

But . . . downgraded powermgmt-base to testing and boot warnings disappear . . . but now only super-fast sidux . . .

The same here with 2.6.26-1.slh.4-sidux-686 on my Thinkpad T61, although the power connector is pugged in.

The gag is, that on my old Acer Extensa 2909 LMi this message appears always and with every kernel since I use sidux (nearly one year). Laughing

Had the same problem, but a dist-upgrade this morning solved the issue. powermgmt-base was part of this upgrade.
