how about a sticky to tell the thread creators to mark the thread as solved with the green "check" like :
Dear "solution searcher" if your thread is solved please edit your thread and mark in your first post the green "check". It will help to visualise the solved threads and avoid to read the hole thread till the end where i read "ok, problem solved"
