If you should want to update to kernel 2.6.20.7 these days, please try to be fully dist-upgraded or just wait a few days.
Dist-Upgrade should work at the moment, using h2 script, but servers worldwide are a bit scrambled up and mostly behind a few days, making it a bit hard to give a recommendation. If you dist-upgrade, please watch out, what is supposed to be removed.

WARNING: We expect serious problems regarding the upgrade of locales/libc6 packages today.

As you can read here, etch can get released anytime today or tomorrow.
That means for us, sid will get many packages from the waiting queue from experimental.
So please be extremely carefull with dist-upgrades for a while and read the warnings here before upgrading.
In this situation we cannot guarantee, that we can filter all broken packages fast enough, so best practice is to not dist-upgrade for a couple days, until the dust has settled.

Edit: Etch was released some 8 hours ago.

In todays dist-upgrade we have a broken package: python-central
It will not let the dist-upgrade run through.
Workaround for now: apt-get install -t python-central/testing

We are working on a fix.

Edit: a fixed package python-central 0.5.13-0.1 is on sidux repository.

As most of you probably guessed, we had a little April Fool's Day joke on you with the wallpaper contest winner. RazberrieTart was in on the joke of course.
So now I am much obliged to announce the real outcome. The winner of the Τάρταρος Wallpaper Competition is Cathbard. Congratulations!
In second place, a close runner up is Cleary.
Congrats to Cleary as well.
There was other real good works of art, but not all were suited for a wallpaper and building a good theme on it.
Now it's time to build a consistent theming on the winning wallpaper, so get out your sketchbooks and give it a go.
