We are pleased to present to you during the holiday season sidux-dvd 2008-04 "Πόντος".
This version brings a lot of technical novelties as well as an extended list of applications specialy from the educational sector.

sidux-dvd contains the desktop environments KDE, XFCE, Fluxbox and IceWM and an enhanced collection of applications mostly but not only for the KDE desktop. Also packages for the following languages are included: en-AU, en_GB, da_DK, de_DE, es_ES, en_US, fr_FR, hr_HR, ja_JP, nl_NL, pt_BR, pt_PT, ro_RO, ru_RU. The dvd holds 2 Images, each ~ 2 GB, for the 32-bit and the 64-bit architecture.

sidux is a full featured Debian sid based live CD with a special focus on hard disk installations, a clean upgrade path within sid and additional hard- and software support.
The ISO is completely based on Debian sid, enriched and stabilized with sidux' own packages and scripts. For more technical details please read the Release Note for sidux-2008-04.
