It was exactly one year ago today when the sidux e. V. founders came together to hold their first constitutive meeting at IRC #sidux-ev. Immediately the first version of its Statutes was passed leading to the establishing of the Association (e. V.).
Apart from distributing free software, it is sidux e. V. aim, to support the sidux project financially as well as in legal matters.



There are 57 members at present, many participating actively i.e. to represent sidux at Linux conventions and workshops. Furthermore, the Association has successfully completed many projects like converting the computer system of a Hotel in Berlin to sidux including router/repeater. Both are running on free software now. Or there is Seminarix about to be released now, an educating programm.

Of course we welcome anybody who is interested to our IRC chatroom #sidux-ev. And maybe we can welcome you as a new member too. More details about subscribtion are to be found here
