We are proud to anounce that the Hetzner Online AG has agreed to sponsor the sidux project with a dedicated root server for hosting the main web site sidux.com, together with our support forums, Wiki and the user gallery. The server is located in Hetzner's data centers in Nuernberg/Germany, with strong upstream connections to LambdaNet, Noris Network, Tiscali, DE-CIX, Cable & Wireless, KPN EuroRings and N-IX.

Hetzner Online AG is leading provider for shared, dedicated & colocation hosting solutions and has received several industry awards for quality of services.

Of course our new web server runs on recent sidux64 with newest slh-kernel. Our server team has already prepared the move to the new server, which will take place after 2100 UTC. Although we will need to bring the web site down just for a few minutes, you might experience some disturbance due to slow world-wide DNS-server propagation, which unfortunately is out of our influence.

Please clear you browser cache and delete all cookies from sidux before re-loging into the new server.
